The lush nature of Grenada underscores the island’s second most popular name - The Isle of Spice. In fact, there are more spices on the island per square mile than on any other place on the planet. Cloves, mace, cocoa, cinnamon, ginger and a host of other spices call Grenada home. By far the most abundant is nutmeg. Grenada produces a third of the world’s supply, and it’s the island’s largest agricultural export.
